WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS TOUR

Step into a land where history, culture, and natural beauty blend seamlessly. Alentejo, often referred to as the heart of Portugal is a region of rolling golden plains, ancient cork oak forests, and sun-soaked vineyards.

Its charm lies in its authenticity, from whitewashed villages to welcoming locals who proudly uphold centuries-old traditions.

At the center of it all is Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city that invites you to explore its rich history, from Roman ruins to medieval churches and unique cultural landmarks like the Capela dos Ossos (Chapel of Bones).

On this unforgettable journey, you’ll uncover the secrets of Alentejo.

Begin by stepping back in time at the Cromeleque dos Almendres, an enigmatic megalithic site older than Stonehenge.

Then, lose yourself in the cobbled streets of Évora’s old town, where every corner tells a story of Portugal’s past. Visit the hauntingly beautiful Chapel of Bones, a site that leaves a lasting impression.

No trip to Alentejo would be complete without indulging in its culinary delights. You’ll savor traditional dishes crafted from simple, fresh ingredients—like Açorda Alentejana or Migas com Carne de Porco—paired with the region’s rustic bread and olive oils.

The day concludes with a visit to one of Alentejo’s renowned wineries, where you’ll experience the rich flavors of its world-famous wines. Stroll through the vineyards, tour the cellars, and taste a selection of wines that capture the essence of this remarkable region.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a foodie, or a wine lover, this tour offers a perfect blend of experiences that will leave you with lasting memories of Alentejo’s unique charm.
